RESULTS

Simulating Forces.jpg

Both the neck and guitar body were able to handle all the testing loads that were applied. The neck cutout was especially looked at since that is where the neck is attached and also where the least amount of carbon fiber is. The neck cutout was able to withstand each test that was applied with no movement from the neck or screws. Since the criteria for passing or failing the tests were dependent on visual data, these results are not as accurate as they would be using analytical data.

Although these results are not as precise or accurate as they could be with more accurate testing methods, they are still relevant to the project because the testing still shows that the neck and guitar body can handle the simulated forces of being played. Overall, applying the carbon fiber and attaching the neck to the guitar body was a success.
